NGC 1910  (Large Magellanic Cloud)

NGC 1910 ( bottom right corner) is one of 3 main emission nebulae in this field and is very close to the centre of the LMC. NGC 1910 is an OB association of the LMC which is at a distance of 160,000 light years in Dorado.

This Stella group contains more than 100 giant and super giant stars including S Dorado, one of the most luminous stars known. The S shaped surrounding nebula stands out well in this very crowed part of the LMC.

Two of the LMC’s many globular clusters are close and show distinct colour difference.
