NGC 6752

Globular clusters are the oldest objects known and most are in the southern sky with NGC 6752 in Pavo, being the 3rd brightest.

This cluster is in a particularly obscuration free part of the sky and contains a high number of “blue stragglers” stars, result of possible of stellar  mergers.

Telescope.  16 inch F 4.5 Newtonian.

Camera.  S Big ST 4000 XCM OSC CCD.

Exposure & Time.  12 x 300 sec.  Sept 2013.
