Alpha Gruis and NGC 7213

Alpha Gruis is a 1.74 magnitude star in Grus at a distance  of 101 light years. As a huge contrast, NGC 7213 is a small  Seyfert galaxy at 71 MLY distance. NGC 7213 (1 o’clock position) has at least 3 different layers of brightness out from a very bright stellar nucleus, also a faint dark lane can been seen on the edge of the inner bright layer.
