Hercules Cluster. (Abell 2151)

Abell 2151.

Abell 2151 is one of the largest and richest galaxy cluster known. The cluster contains more spirals than elliptical galaxies and extends way past the field of view of this image. What makes this cluster different to other galaxy clusters is the large number of interacting pairs in the process of merging.

Abell 2151 contains an estimated 200 galaxies at a distance of 500 MLY in the constellation of Hercules.
