NGC 1232

NGC 1232 is a beautiful face-on spiral galaxy in Eridanus at a distance of about 60 MLY.

NGC 1232 A ( 2 o’clock) is a satellite galaxy and it seems to be the cause of the unusual bending of NGC 1232‘s spiral arms.
