NGC 1543

NGC 1543.

NGC 1543 is a barred lenticular outer ringer galaxy in Reticulum at a distance of 56 MLY.

An extremely faint and distant galaxy cluster  showing up as faint fuzzy orange coloured specks  on the left edge of the outer ring of NGC 1543 and some even shinning through this ring.

F.O.V.   25 x 25 min of arc.

Telescope.   16 inch F 4.5 Newtonian.

Camera.   S Big ST 4000  XCM OSC CCD.

Exposure and date.   12 x 900 sec.   Dec 2017.
