NGC 1566 (Spanish Dancer)

NGC 1566.

NGC 1566 is a Seyfert spiral galaxy in the constellation of Dorado at a distance of about 50 MLY.

You can understand how this beautiful galaxy got it’s nick name of Spanish Dancer with it’s 2 graceful spiral arms.

NGC 1566 is also the second brightest Seyfert galaxy known.
