NGC 2280

NGC 2280 is a large spiral galaxy in Canis Major, with faint loosely wound spiral arms. This galaxy is thought to be simular in shape and size to own our own Milky Way.

The distance is 75 MLY.

Telescope.  16 Inch F4.5 Newtonian.

Camera.  S Big ST4000 XCM OSC CCD.
