NGC 3109

NGC 3109 is an Magellanic type irregular galaxy in Hydra at 4.2 MLY distance putting it at the outskirts of the Local Group.

NGC 3109 is believed to be tidally interacting the Antila Dwarf and doesn’t appear to possess a galactic nucleus.

Telescope.  16 Inch F4.5 Newtonian.

Camera.  S Big ST4000 XCM OSC CCD.
