Palomar 5 and AGC 2050.

Palomar 5 (top) is one of 15 faint globular clusters discovered on survey plates of the first Palomar Observatory Sky Survey. It is 76,000 light years distance in Serpens Caput. This globular cluster has a distinct squarish shape and there are even a couple of small, faint, face-on spirals showing through.

In stark contrast Abell Galaxy Cluster 2050 (bottom) is a very faint galaxy cluster about 1.5 billions light years distance. Most of the reddish- orange coloured objects at the bottom of this image are members of this cluster.
