NGC 2018 (Large Magellanic Cloud)

NGC 2018 (top) is one of many bright HII emission nebulae in the LMC. There are several star clusters belonging to the LMC in the field. They are all mostly resolved into individual mostly blue stars.

There is an extremely large faint circle of nebulosity with a broad cluster of blue stars (bottom left corner) closest to the brightest section of this circle. The several bright stars across the field are foreground Milky Way stars.
